WIPO ST.26 (Patent)

Export sequences for an a set of entries in the WIPO ST.26 XML format.

This tool is useful for exporting sequences for a set of entries in the WIPO ST.26 XML format for patent applications. It generates the sequences and region annotations needed for antibody sequence patent filings.

Accessing the Tool

Select at least one antibody in the Project View. Go to the Export menu and select WIPO ST.26 (Patent). This will export the sequences in the WIPO ST.26 XML format.

Using the Tool

  • Required Values: The initial modal for exporting the WIPO XML requires the following values:
    • Applicant Name: The name of the applicant. This is most likely the company filing the patent.
    • Invention Title: The title of the invention.
    • Organism (Default Source): The organism from which the sequences were derived. This is usually "synthetic construct" if the sequence has been changed or a specific modality design used.
  • Generate XML: Click the Generate XML button to create the WIPO ST.26 XML file.
  • XML: Import the WIPO ST.26 XML file into the WIPO Sequence tool.
